Job Purpose or Summary:

Provide SME services to I MEF G-3/5 OPERATIONS AND PLANS SECTION to support analysis of I MEFs capacity to provide forces, develop practical sourcing solutions and provide SME service and guidance in the management of force generation of I MEF forces in support of a validated Request For Forces/Capabilities/Assistance (RFF/RFC/RFA) from Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC).

Essential Job Duties:

* Review and support the execution of planning Operations Plans (OPLANS)
* and Contingency Plans (CONPLANS).
* Support development of strategies and screening processes; crisis action planning; deliberate planning; command and staff actions; and component/war fighter interactions.
* Assist in the development of training and education plans including exercises and war games; identify, collect, filter, and disseminate information with multiple levels of security.
* Support the development of command position papers, command presentations; draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Assist in the planning, coordination, and facilitation of conferences as required.
* Make recommendations to technical documentation of requirements for inclusion in the joint requirements process.
* Provide/develop assessment frameworks, identify challenges and opportunities, and provide recommendations to overcome group dynamics challenges and developing defensible allocation methods across the I MEF staff.
* Research/analyze decision-making in the Marine Corps and ways to enhance defenses against enemy information operations beyond information security and information systems security; design training/instruction to accomplish this for both junior Marines and senior officers.
* Teach MEF Intelligence Center (MIC) analysts which Red Team tools and techniques are most effective for intelligence analysis and how to use them effectively.
* Support the development of end states, objective, and metrics in support of I MEF preparations for future war capability development. Support I MEF with the day-to-day support of Expeditionary Operations Cell tasks and the force generation and training of I MEF MEUs, SPMAGTFs, and PBTFs.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Experience in the Marine Corps serving at the MEF MAGTF level
* Experience with the Marine Corps Planning Process or Military Decision Making Process
* Familiarity with Marine Corps service-level concepts and doctrine
* Graduate of a service or industry equivalent Red Team course or three years experience

Applicant selected for this position must be able to obtain and/or maintain a security clearance or access.

U.S. Citizenship required.
