React Native App Developer1 year+ Contract
Location: Dallas, Texas
We have 2 exciting new job openings for React Native App Developers to join our team and work on-site at our client's global HQ's in Addison, Texas. This is an awesome opportunity to gain experience developing applications using the following technology stack:
o React-Native
o Apollo-Client
o Jest/Enzyme
o TypeScript or Flow
The primary role will be development of react native applications for iOS, Android, and Windows platforms. Also, in this role the developer will translate requirements into deliverables (writing react components, writing unit tests, reviewing pull requests, etc.) and communicating daily with fellow developers and project team which consists of: product lead, design team, QA, etc. This role will have minimal travel, but some travel is to be expected.
Responsibilities:
o Contribution in grooming sessions around functionality requirements to provide insight from an architectural/development perspective
o Collaboration with product and creative teams around UI design
o Collaboration with QA to define proper functional test strategy
o Execution of established standards in regards to coding, application accessibility (ADA), and unit testing
o Participation in code reviews of their peer's work
Required Skills:
o 5+ years of JavaScript experience, especially in React and JS-based web app state management
o 5+ years of HTML5/CSS3 experience, understanding concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
o 5+ years of React and best practices
o Keen sense of design and how to replicate it with CSS3
o Experience writing unit tests of front-end assets
o Working knowledge of Git
o Terrific communication skills, with both technical and non-technical teams
o Working knowledge of agile methodologies
o Working knowledge of GraphQL - preferred
o Working knowledge of Atlassian Suite
o Understanding of Web accessibility requirements and supporting assistive technologies
o Understanding of advanced react patterns such as render props, FaaC
o Familiarity with styled-components, Typescript, next.js
