The Cards Platform group owns, develops and maintains the core systems that support the Credit Card products for Barclays US Consumer Bank. At the Barclays US Consumer Bank, technology teams work in an Agile manner. The Technology Group is looking for a AVP Quality Engineer in our Whippany, NJ campus. Quality Engineering establishes standards, certifies technology products and services, drives continuous integration/delivery strategy and provides governance oversight to all technology changes.

What will you be doing?

* Ensure the highest quality of test coverage, automation, risk assessment, governance and quality assurance for all technology initiatives and deliverables
* Drive solutions using Test Driven Development and Behavioral Driven Development
* Build internal knowledge and CoEs - Retain & widen the knowledge pool of knowledge domain
* Build a team of competent and right skilled resources for overseeing test projects efficiently

What we're looking for:

* 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject or experience
* 3-5 years of experience in Software Development/Test Automation
* 3-5 years of experience building Enterprise Applications, using modern languages like Java
* 3-5 years of experience working with XP methods such as test-driven development and continuous integration

Skills that will help you in the role:

* Knowledge of TSYS/FDR platforms
* Expertise in automating BDD/ATDD using tools such as Cucumber, JBehave, Fitness
* Experience in one of more test automation tools/automated testing programing stack is great plus like SOAPUI Pro, Groovy/Java/Python Programming
* Experience with Jenkins/Hudson/SONAR/Fisheye/Crucible
