QA ENGINEER

QA Engineer: Avetta is looking for a QA Engineer with integration/SOA/Web Service API testing experience who will work as a Scrum team member in an Agile software development environment. They are work across all stages of development, from design to release. Software quality is paramount and continuously building, maintaining and executing the tests to ensure all integration points between Zuora, Paypal and our flagship Connect product are functioning correctly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Participate in analysis discussions to ensure that proposed designs and incremental deliverables are immediately testable
* Critically analyze requirements and write meaningful test cases
* Quickly learn and understand the core functionality of our web applications and integrated services
* Test daily development software builds when features are completed
* Report on software quality to the Scrum Team on a daily basis
* Analyze results from New Relic and Google Analytics to learn customers behaviors
* Execute and analyze automation test results
* Prioritize testing on most used features

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* 5+ years experience testing enterprise web applications, web services, private cloud integration
* Deep understanding and passion for software quality assurance above and beyond standard QA strategies and techniques
* Knowledge of Automation testing tools and best practices
* Knowledge of Performance testing tool such as Jmeter or BlazeMeter is a plus
* Ability to work, participate and collaborate in a Agile/Scrum environment ● Excellent verbal and written communication, problem analysis/solving skills
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
