Amazon Music is going through a growth phase and is looking for a QA Engineer with experience working on highly scalable services. We're building customer facing desktop/mobile experiences and large scale back end systems that work with big data. As a QA Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to define the test strategy for new project initiatives, work with product owners to develop test plans and acceptance criteria, and work side by side with the development team to automate tests. You'll ensure our team has a strong focus on quality, from requirements through release.

The ideal candidate is interested in being part of an agile team, is passionate about innovating for customers, and has a track record of delivering new features and products. A commitment to team work, hustle, and strong communication skills are absolute requirements. The role requires a QA Engineer with technical depth as well as a strong grasp (and strong opinions!) on industry best practices, risk management, and workload distribution.

Our team is focused on building a personalized, curated, and seamless music experience. We want to help our customers discover up-and-coming artists, while also having access to their favorite established musicians. We build systems that are distributed on a large scale, spanning our music apps, web player, and voice-forward audio engagement on mobile and Amazon Echo devices, powered by Alexa to support our customer base. We develop software in Java, C++, Objective-C, HTML5/JavaScript, Python, and various AWS technologies. Amazon Music offerings are available in countries around the world, and our applications support our mission of delivering music to customers in new and exciting ways that enhance their day-to-day lives.
