Overview

The Quality Assurance Analyst II regularly tests Raising Cane's technology systems to ensure they function as intended, are accurate, and are complete. This position participates in all phases of software development and configuration processes including requirements analysis, configuration testing, interface testing, and systems deployment. We are seeking a detailed analyst with deep testing design and execution skills who works effectively with limited supervision. This person will contribute to efforts to ensure that all company and 3rd-party systems have completed reasonable testing procedures and process that ensure they operate consistent with business expectations. Must be highly collaborative with internal IT team members, business partners, external consultants and vendors to ensure IT systems deliver operational excellence.

Responsibilities

* Day-to-day active / proactive oversight of change management practices ensuring systems are approved for deployment.
* Determine business requirements for systems and develop and execute test plans as needed to ensure systems are properly tested.
* Manage and maintain lab and QA environments to ensure testing integrity
* Collaborate with your IT peers and business partners to plan and schedule testing plans as needed to support business objectives and deployment timelines.
* Introduce and build and develop QA process and procedures to colleagues in the department
* Communicate overall quality assurance metrics as they relate to system tested.
* Scope of responsibilities:
* Configuration or system changes as they relate to POS, KDS, CC Processing, Loyalty, Labor Management, and Mobile Solutions
* Configuration or system changes as they relate to SharePoint, Okta, Application Tracking Systems, Lease Administration, and critical Integrations to Workday our corporate ERP
* BI: Dashboards and emailed Reports, verifying they accurately reflect the data received

Qualifications

* Create and execute detailed test plans, addressing functional requirements and confirming accuracy of systems outputs based on system inputs.
* Identify and ensure the resolution of systems quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
* Recognize downward trends in systems quality so that issues are identified and resolved quickly, completely, and permanently.
* System test processes, reports, user interfaces, etc.
* Participate in design reviews.
* Participate in ad hoc projects to improve the quality of systems provided by the IT department.

* Education & Experience.
* Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
* Minimum 3-7 years of experience with IT systems testing
* Minimum 1-2 years of QA leadership experience (planning, design, and execution oversight).


* Restaurant and/or retail IT experience is a plus.
