Alexa Communications team is looking for a senior quality assurance engineer who is interested in building and testing Communications capabilities with us across huge set of devices including unreleased Amazon devices. We solve highly complex technical and business problems with ingenuity and simplicity. You can make history with us, and the good news is that we've only just begun!

Our team builds Alexa communications experiences that help families and friends stay in touch. We've launched Alexa Calling, Drop-in, Messaging, Announcements to make communication more easier through voice. This is just the beginning, and we're looking to grow so we can deliver even more ambitious features with high quality to our customers. An engineer who care about delivering high quality product, who can dive deep technically and can drive the quality across all the Communications experiences is preferred. We are looking for a passionate, curious, and talented engineer who have experience strategizing QA for innovative, mission critical, high volume applications that will revolutionize the industry. You will have an enormous opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture, implementation and testing of cutting edge products used every day, by people you know. Running with the spirit and energy of a start-up, our team is focused on leveraging emerging technologies (Alexa voice recognition) to create new product offerings in the space of Communications.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about an opportunity to test complex systems in the most efficient ways, pushing the limits of current technology and challenging the status quo.

Key responsibilities include:

* Influence our overall test strategy by helping define product features, enabling QA during design, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product
* Drive test automation to both insure product quality and to contribute to Continuous Integration and Delivery efforts.
* Interact with cross-functional engineering teams across the company
* Dive into and take ownership of mission critical puzzles to enable testing
* Participate in design reviews
* Define Quality Metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the catalog.
