Purpose of Position-

The IT Manager, Quality Assurance is responsible for developing and managing quality assurance methodologies, processes and procedures that ensure the successful testing of store systems software, product, and hardware and database information. The incumbent will also be responsible for the quality of Dunkin' Brands store systems and products implemented restaurants.

What You'll Be Working On-

* Ensures the successful implementation of all store systems IT including POS, Backoffice, Kiosk etc. by providing testing standards, processes and procedures, and by managing the quality assurance testing of all software, hardware and training materials, both in-lab and in-store
* Lead QA automation Strategy to reduce time associated with Testing cycles
* Ensures the quality of system deployments by providing standard software version control applications and methods, change control processes and procedures, and high-level hardware asset management tracking
* Ensures system performance issues are identified and addressed by performing trend analysis of software, hardware and procedural problems identified by the Help Desk, POS vendors, and other Dunkin' Brands support groups
* Use sound judgment to prioritize issues to maximize the quality of the product releases
* Work with product and support teams to translate any customer issues and help in prioritizing testing of maintenance releases and hot fixes
* Develops and implements methodologies, policies and procedures to ensure that products are in compliance with and consistent with Dunkin' Brands SDLC standards
* Ensures that the processes and documentations are adequate and effective to meet the business specifications and audit requirements
* Assures business acceptance of products by performing business reviews and gaining business signoff prior to store implementation
* Conduct regularly scheduled change control meetings with Retail Product and Support teams to avoid potential project conflicts
* Ability to assimilate new information quickly and react positively to new and challenging opportunities
* Project management with complex projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

What You'll Need-

* Bachelor degree with concentration in Information Technology or business or equivalent additional (2 years) experience is required
* Minimum of 5 or more years of progressive, relevant IT experience
* Minimum of 2 to 3 years of quick service restaurant or retail industry experience
* Experienced in developing and managing a formal IT Change Control process
* Experienced in monitoring and reporting trends in software and hardware performance
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, such as meeting facilitation, presentation and documentation
* Experienced in managing a staff
* Eggplant automation experience is a plus
