Job Description

We are looking for a QA Lead to join our team at the ZeniMax Media corporate headquarters in Rockville, MD.

Responsibilities:

* Train, direct and optimize a team to balance iterative functionality and creative break case testing
* Quickly and efficiently analyze data that testing generates - and proactively construct and change plans as needed
* Interact directly with QA Management and the Development team to discuss test scheduling and issues
* Coach and mentor testers on proper QA processes and testing procedures
* Effectively, and objectively, communicate the status of the project to both the Production and Development teams as well as QA Management
* Diagnose and communicate console first-party and functionality issues at a high-quality level (i.e., complex bug troubleshooting and scheduling conflicts) to upper management
* Track certification testing needs and progress across multiple projects with multiple console/sku requirements
* Communicate with other Leads regarding certification/functionality testing needs and resource management
* Track and manage the daily workload of an embedded test team
* Detailed tracking and timely reporting of work progress and deliverables
* Help to manage the project database; ensuring continuous high quality on bug entry, timely response on requests for more information, and proper bug flow
* Help to manage and proactively update constant changes in platform and console requirements
* Assist in the creation and implementation of training materials for team members

Requirements:

* Experience testing and shipping multiple AAA cross-platform games in a QA focused, project management capacity
* Proven background in Certification and Functionality Test process and procedures
* Proven experience with PC/Console/mobile testing
* Knowledge and experience with tools for scheduling and tracking deliverables
* Strong analytical skills in reviewing all design-related information and interpreting areas of risk in testing
* Self-motivated, with strong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervision
* Strong Organizational Skills
* Flexibility to changing priorities
* Advanced skill set for using Windows applications
* Proficient with MS Office
* Extensive knowledge of Sony/Microsoft and mobile first party requirements across multiple generations - Xbox One/PS4/Apple/Android/PC/MAC
* Able to build a detailed test plan that is flexible with ongoing changes in features and verifies builds for full production testing
* 2 - 5+ years software test and first-party certification experience
* 5+ shipped titles (2+ as a QA Project Lead - responsible for all facets of testing)

Desired Skills:

* Experience with products and games having Live environment needs - assessing and ensuring proper time and resource management during ongoing development
