Job Description

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design functional, integration and regression test plans, build and execute manual and automated tests and perform highly complex analysis for multiple products. Set cross-functional product testing standards. Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex problems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Our Opportunity

Due to extreme growth and success in this space we are adding a QA Engineer to our team in San Francisco. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing the goBalto SAAS application, write test specifications, execute the tests, file and validate bugs and providing timely status on test progress during product development process. Additionally, this role will also be producing validation documents to satisfy industry audit requirements. The role involves collaboration with product management, developers and other QA engineers to understand the product, implementation and scope and depth of testing.

What You'll Do...

* Improve the quality of goBalto's SAAS products.
* Design, maintain, automate and test the test specifications using an industry framework.
* Develop deep expertise in the product.
* Provide timely feedback on feature functionality, validity and product defects.
* Work closely with product management team and product development team to ensure optimal quality and timely delivery of product releases.
* Work closely with Compliance and Product Management to maintain proper documentation to meet various regulated requirements.
* Work closely with Customer Experience and User Experience to understand product design, and functionality requirements.

What skills do I need?

* Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience either in QA or as a user of clinical operations applications.
* Background in clinical operations, CTMS or eTMF systems highly desired.
* Experience with product development processes.
* Ability to address problem areas and force quality improvements.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Working experience authoring test cases in BDD (Cucumber) style.
* Experience working in fast paced Agile environment.
* Experience testing enterprise level mobile application (iOS and Android).
* Experience testing reports build in Tableau or other data virtualization tools.
* Demonstrable expertise and recent experience with enterprise SaaS applications a big plus
