Position Overview

Ralph Lauren is looking for a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join its E-commerce team. The QA Analyst role will be responsible for testing RalphLauren.com in websites in North America and Europe, creative content and special projects, Order Management process QA, and supporting E-commerce business applications. The QA Analyst will be responsible for adhering to QA policies, processes and documentation standards, overseeing and/or participating in all aspects of project testing, overseeing IT QA test environments, providing technical guidance to less senior QA team members and 3rd party vendors and ensuring schedule adherence for assigned projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Reviews and provides input to requirements/design documents
* Participates in estimating test effort, designing approach, and identifying risks
* Designs, maintains, executes, and retests test cases
* Conducts test case reviews
* Triages and reports test defects and analyzes trends
* Develops test data where needed
* Executes SQL commands to manage and verify data
* Ensures traceability of test cases to requirements
* Reviews and provides input to installation, implementation, and training materials
* Supports UAT resources and activities
* Reports execution and defect status to management
* Develops expert knowledge across applications
* Contributes to an ongoing process of improving test efficiency and accuracy by influencing process, tool, and infrastructure improvements
* Participates in team meetings, working with developers, business analysts, project managers, user advocates, and other testers, local and remote
* Coordinates and facilitates testing with 3rd party solutions & internal integrations

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* 4 - 6 years' prior software testing experience, preferably in a large enterprise organization conducting GUI and backend testing
* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science, engineering, business, or related field. Business knowledge of the application under test may be substituted
* Familiar with a variety of testing concepts, practices, and procedures
* Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, roles, and work in an agile environment is considered a plus
* Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with attention to detail
* Strong technical skills and understanding of data base structures and infrastructure elements
* Strong organizational and time management skills to be able to handle multiple projects and tasks
* Capable of working with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including facilitation and team leadership skills
* Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
* Must have a positive attitude, handle stress well in a highly changing environment, and be motivated by guiding change in the organization
* Must have SalesForce Demandware/Business Manager, JIRA, JDA, Excel, Word, Applause, and IBM Sterling
