Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees are expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge, and manage a high level of risk. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. This job code is only to be used for associates supporting Global Markets.

Candidate will be a team member of the xVA infrastructure group responsible for:

1. Enhancements to infrastructure to support regulatory requirements

2. Enhance grid distribution strategies to guarantee optimal distribution

3. Enhancements to reduce execution time and memory footprint.

4. Develop and enhance monitoring tools

5. Develop and enhance reporting tools

Skills:

1. Proficiency in a high level language such as C++, C#, Java, Python. Python experience a plus

2. Experience developing large scale distributed platforms

3. Knowledge of xVA a plus but not necessary

4. Good communication skills

Strong technical development lead, with 8+ years of development experience. Financial experience highly desired but will consider candidates with similar non-financial technical experience. CVA/FVA experience desirable.

* The ability to effectively communicate within a multi-disciplined team, across multiple locations and time zones, and to interact with demanding business users.
* A flexible, hardworking and "can do" attitude; comfortable working in a fast paced environment with frequent release cycles and rapidly changing priorities.
* Seasoned in C, C++, Python and/or Java.
* Experience architecting/designing end-to-end application flows
* Strong problem solving skills.
* Work in Global Markets and/or Risk Management
* Strong understanding of regulatory rules and applications.
* Exposure to Agile methodologies.

Desirable skills

* Python experience
* Counterparty Credit Risk and/or CVA knowledge.
* Exposure to financial / product control functions within a bank.
