Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees are expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge, and manage a high level of risk. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. This job code is only to be used for associates supporting Global Markets.

Candidate will be responsible working on QzRates Onyx system which is one of the critical Bond Trading system in Global Rates Technology at Bank of America. It specializes on US Treasuries & Agency Bonds and their hedges via Futures, Options, Swaps and ETFs and is written using Quartz platform which is proprietary framework for Bank of America Global Market Technology. Quartz is used for position management, EOD and Intraday IR risk calculations, PnL analysis and various Regulatory Reporting such as FINRA TRACE, MiFID, Dodd Frank and Volcker reporting.

Job Duties:

* Develop and implement trading platforms to support trading of ETF's, Govt bonds, and Futures. Build intraday risk platform for USTA desk
* Work closely with Front office users to gather requirements and perform requirement analysis.
* Design and develop software to implement new requirements like support for ETF products, SOFR Support and others
* Develop and maintain pricing and PnL framework for bonds trading.
* Work on enhancing existing software to meet regulatory requirements like MIFFD 2, BREXIT
* Manage on-shore and offshore team, make sure that work is delivered on timely manner
* Perform system analysis to evaluate messages, database and application performance and work Infrastructure team to get it updated.

Requirement:

* 3+ years of Python development experience is must have
* 2+ years of Java development is good to have
* 3+ years of Object oriented programming experience
* 2+ years of experience in Fixed income trading/risk management/p/l application development
* Very good communication skills
