Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees are expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge, and manage a high level of risk. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. This job code is only to be used for associates supporting Global Markets.

Job Functions Include:

* Work with a multi-disciplinary work team to help define vision for target-state technology platform
* Engage and communicate with stakeholders to drive awareness and alignment on strategy
* Partner across teams; develop and implement an effective governance structure, ensure adherence to program objectives and identify risk and control solutions.
* Help ensure quality delivery of capabilities, including end-user adoption

Qualifications

* 10+ years of Object Oriented Programming using Python, C#, Java or C++. Prior experience in application development using Python is a big plus.
* Experience designing workflow/scenario/data services (server side) and data oriented user interfaces.
* Knowledge of UI design patterns, multi-threaded programming etc. and experience with services based and messaging based architectures.
* In-depth understanding of object-oriented methodology, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
* Good understanding of agile development and continuous integration
