Responsibilities

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above
* Be involved in the financial management of clients
* Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
* Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
* Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
* Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
* Train, coach, and supervise staff
* Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
* Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

We are seeking an experienced talented and passionate leaders with deep understanding of large scale distributed data processing applications and Java technologies. You will be leading a team of a team which is comfortable performing tasks at any level of the technology stack ranging from backend database to front end UI helping where problems exist and being flexible in approach collaborating with others.

Additional Educational Requirements:

In lieu of a Bachelor Degree, 12 years of professional experience involving technology-focused process improvements, transformations, and/or system implementations

Computer and Information Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration/Management

PMI Certified, Scrum Master

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

* Performing as a team leader to include leading teams to generate a vision, establishing direction, motivating members, creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, coaching staff, and encouraging improvement and innovation;
* Leveraging knowledge of enterprise systems design, application scaling, performance evaluation, and architecture refinement;
* Demonstrating experience with Java 8, Scala based platforms, open source tooling and Application frameworks like Spring Boot;
* Demonstrating experience of Hadoop, Apache NiFi, Apache Atlas, NoSQL database models, XML, relational and other database models and associated SQL; and,
* Demonstrating knowledge of full stack development with comfort and familiarity of continuous integration tooling such as Docker, Docker Swarm, Jenkins, Chef, and Puppet.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

* Utilizing enterprise Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) tools for orchestration of services and workflows;
* Experience in designing, developing large scale distributed data processing systems/applications or large scale internet systems utilizing technologies like Java 8, Scala, Spring Boot, Apache NiFi, Hortonworks HDP, HDF, DPS etc.;
* Experience working with Agile Methodologies and develop code using object oriented design, implementation and maturation to take advantage of the language feature sets, and most appropriately utilizes system resources which can become constrained in a big data environment; and,
* Developing and modifying web applications to include HTML, javascript, ReactJS, Redux, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
