We are looking to hire a senior developer with software engineering background to work on Public Finance eTrading platform integration. Our team is a highly-skilled, business-aligned team of technologists responsible for building and supporting the trade execution management platforms for Public finance business. The role will combine all aspects of software development from design and build to deployment, working within a team of experienced technologists. It requires an expertise in creating high quality and reusable components in a service-oriented architecture. The successful candidate must be comfortable working both business teams with a focus on solving business problems via technology in a fast changing environment; time to market is critical, but without compromising on quality or performance.

Qualifications

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience


* Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines


* Advanced knowledge of architecture, design across all systems


* Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages Java


* Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices


* Keen understanding of financial control and budget management


* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture


* Hands-on experience working on messaging technologies like JMS and MQ


* Hands-on experience working on Java Frameworks such as Spring & Hibernate


* Hands-on experience working on database technologies like Oracle
* Knowledge of market data and order entry protocols (FIX etc.)
* Experience of working in an Agile environment
