The Industry Specialty Services Manager, Project Controls Practice works on client projects, assisting in the design and implementation of effective project controls systems and processes in order to assist the client in optimizing program performance. This role may also support Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance assessments and corrective actions. This position is also responsible for project management to ensure that quality and timely deliverables are presented to the customer. The Project Manager must also ensure the project is completed within the budget approved by the client.

Qualifications

Education:

* Bachelors degree, required

Experience:

* Three (3) or more years in project controls and EVMS system design and implementation, required
* Experience in business processes and technical solution implementation, required
* Additional experience in a consulting role, preferred

License(s)/Certification(s):

* PMP Certification, Earned Value Professional (EVP) or another Project Management Certification, preferred

Software:

* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required
* Proficient in technical experience configuring and implementing Deltek Cobra, required
* Expertise with Open Plan and PM Compass, preferred

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically business/report writing
* Strong analytical and basic research skills
* Strong organizational skills, especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
* Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
* Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to follow and apply specific rules and regulations
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
