Job Description

Position Summary:

Under minimal direction, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple development, infrastructure and software acquisition projects of various degree in complexity and size through the project life cycle and completing the projects on schedule, in quality, and with business sponsors satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions:

* Provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation leading cross-functional teams and reports progress throughout the project.
* Develops Project Charter, project plans (using MS Project), project estimates, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and issue resolution.
* Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
* For acquisition projects, manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables, along with IT project deliverables.
* Provides Project Management guidance to the technical teams.
* Regular attendance at work on a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours and 40 hours per week
* Other functions may be assigned

Education:

* Successful completion of a 4 year degree in a directly-related area such as Business Management or Computer Science

Minimum Experience:

* Minimum of 5 years of directly-related experience in the of project management, resource management and/or project assessment techniques; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
