Summary of Position

The Project Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) manages project schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables for CPK projects. Knowledge of the larger CPK landscape without neglecting granular details while tracking project health, identifying project risk and resolving issues as they arise. Helps define the most appropriate Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards to be used for the project based on size, complexity or cost. Ensures that project requirements and scope are clearly identified and managed and project quality is maintained. Monitors team member progress toward goals and objectives and keeps management abreast of issues requiring assistance. Works with the Executive team to align project requests with company strategic objectives and prioritize appropriately.

Overall Responsibilities and Duties

* Coordinates internal resources and third parties / vendors for the execution of projects
* Ensure that selective projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
* Develops project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure functional and technical feasibility
* Ensure resource availability and allocation for responsible projects
* Develop a detailed project work plan to track progress
* Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
* Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
* Report and escalate to management as needed
* Manage the relationship with the project sponsor and all stakeholders
* Perform risk management to minimize project risk
* Create and maintain appropriate project documentation
* Assist in development of a CPK PMO

Qualifications

Education, Training, and Work Experience

* Project management qualifications (PMP) or equivalent. Actively working toward PMP will be considered with sufficient demonstrated experience.
* Bachelor's degree is required
* Prior experience with Financial System ERP implementations and related business processes (i.e. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Infor, UltiPro, etc.).
* Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written abilities
* Proficiency with related tools including MS Office and MS Project

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Broad knowledge and understanding of the business processes within a restaurant, retail or hospitality company would be a plus
* Knowledge and application of a Software Development Life Cycle to multiple projects is required
* Broad awareness and understanding of the typical technology / infrastructure footprint within a retail or hospitality environment (Telecommunications, Point of Sale (POS) and Payment Systems, WAN, LAN and Wi-Fi Networks and Restaurant I.T. Hardware, etc.)
* Provide guidance to project sponsors in documenting project requirements, costs & benefits
* Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills required to present department plans and activities to individuals and groups throughout the company
* Provide input to annual budgeting process for anticipated project Capital and General Administrative expenses
* Prior experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Writer is a plus

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to computer terminals. The noise level and temperature is moderate. The employee has the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours a day. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend or kneel, lift up to 40 lbs. and perform other diverse physical tasks as needed. The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to climb on roof through the roof hatch and ladder and open up all roof top equipment to inspect for preventative maintenance. Must be able to climb a ladder inside the restaurant to look above the ceiling for inspections, must be able to look into, bind and under all equipment.
