We are seeking candidates with experience managing IT projects in the Life Sciences field, as well as strong leadership, team building / management, consulting and analysis skills. Your future duties and responsibilities:

* Managing all aspects of IT oriented projects to ensure successful delivery.
* Participating in all phases of software modernization or enhancements engagements.
* Collaborating with clients and CGI colleagues to define project scope, effort estimates, and assumptions.
* Developing work schedules and resourcing plans, including major project milestones and critical path tasks.
* Deploying appropriate project management processes. Actively managing, monitoring, preparing and producing project management reports, timelines, budgets, and documentation.
* Evaluating existing system and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement system changes.
* Capturing and tracking project metrics, and analyzing these to monitor trends.
* Managing changing requirements, including documenting changes, and assessing their impact on the overall project.
* Providing general consulting, problem assessment, analysis, and recommendation development.
* Clearly communicating with project stakeholders, including client business and IT representatives, in order to manage expectations and keep them informed of project status.
* Managing project financials, including initial budget development, ongoing forecast updates, and reconciling actuals-to-budget on a regular basis.
* Contributing to developing CGI's business by identifying additional opportunities at existing clients, participating in proposal development response teams, and new service offering creation.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

5+ years experience managing IT projects using best practice methodologies.

5+ years consulting experience.

5+ years experience working in the Life Sciences sector, either directly in industry or as a consultant.

Experience managing all aspects of projects, include management of scope, scheduling, costs, quality, human resources, communications, risks & issues, communications, and stakeholders.

PMP Certification, or in process of obtaining within 1 year.

Experience applying Agile practices.

Proactive, service oriented attitude, attention to detail, ability to multi-task.

Client oriented mind-set with strong relationship and organizational skills.

Ability to lead discussions and facilitate meetings with clients, including senior leadership.

Strong written and verbal communication skills (with the ability to coach/guide on new concepts)

Familiar with Microsoft product suite (Project, Word, Excel, OneNote, Visio and SharePoint).

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field and at least 7 or more years of experience.
