* Provide overall management and support for projects. * Understand and contribute to the strategic direction and ensure that new features and functions are implemented to conform to the stated strategies and business needs. * Responsible for running projects from inception through development and into production.
Defining required resources for project teams with roles and responsibilities. * Planning and scheduling of project tasks, milestones and deliverables. * Identifying project issues effectively and communicating to PMO in a timely manner.
Managing conflicts within the different groups and across project teams. * Undertakes identification of potential risks and creating strategies for contingency planning and risk mitigation. * Designing and maintaining project and technical documentation. * Facilitating and making trade off decisions between quality, costs, resources, scope and time. * Working with all the stakeholders to define and execute the project. * Managing all the changes and issues with the stakeholders. * Tracking and reporting project progress, costs, and status reporting. * Making sure that the execution of all projects is carried out on schedule. * Ensure that functional and technical specifications meet documented business requirements or business practices. * Strive for process improvements. * Responsible for change management and scope negotiation. * Participate in evaluation and selection of applications and implementation partners/vendors. * Develop and maintain project plans. * Report on project status on a regular basis to stakeholders. * Assist in setting standards by ensuring compliance with PMO guidelines. * Perform all other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.
