Job Description

Chicago-area software company is seeking a Project Manager / Implementation Specialist to oversee new client implementations and existing client upgrades. Our ideal candidate is someone with a "just get it done" attitude. The Project Manager / Implementation Specialist is a multi-disciplined role that is a project manager and best-practices consultant. The Project Manager / Implementation Specialist is responsible for:

* Managing new client implementations
* Ensuring continuous communication with the client by holding regular project status calls
* Access client's needs and produce a workable plan to meet deadlines
* Working cross functionally with the Sales Team and Technical Support Team.
* Identifying resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
* Become a configuration expert and assist clients with customization of the system
* Demonstrate and train clients as needed
* Producing project reports and performance metrics
* Managing stakeholders and stakeholder expectations
* Providing excellent service to clients
* Performs related duties as required

Skills/Requirements:

* 3+ years managing projects, software implementations a plus
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with competing client priorities
* Excellent organizational skills
* PMP a plus
* Strong technical background a plus
* Ability to manage customer expectations & overall satisfaction
* Excellent written and oral communication skills (email, phone and in-person)
* Ability to deeply understand how our clients successfully utilize our software
* Limited travel
