The Project Manager II provides project management for and oversees implementation of mid-sized information management projects, products, technology and services; utilizing standard project management methodologies and processes. He/She relies upon strong knowledge base, analytical methods and problem solving skills to perform assignments and manage projects to a successful completion. The person in this role provides ITS solutions and services which ultimately contribute to patient safety and care or the overall efficiency of the Health System.
Education:
* Bachelor's Degree Required in * Information Technology - Computer/Information Science or * Related Field
Experience:
* 4 years Complex Corporate Systems Required * 2 years Information Technology - Project Management Required * 2 years Healthcare Setting Preferred
Certifications/Licensures:
* Project Management Professional (e.g. PMP) Certification Required or * Lean Certification Required or * Agile Certification Required or * Six Sigma Certification Required
Skills:
* Extensive experience and knowledge of PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook). * Demonstrated ability to use project management applications, portfolio management systems and financial reporting applications. * Demonstrated understanding of information system project life cycles. * Demonstrated business case development experience. * A high degree of organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and the ability to complete tasks under strict time lines is required.
