Project Manager, Global Financial Integrity & Initiatives, Strategic Enablement and Governance, Corporate Controllership - Finance

The GFII organization represents Finance on business facing investment projects and plays a critical liaison role with Technologies, Finance, and the Business to ensure financial integrity is embedded in the end to end process. The team focuses on creating accurate requirements related to accounting, reporting, and balancing and controls. GFII is also responsible to drive strategic finance initiatives in compliance with Finance policies and regulatory changes as well as support finance strategy in key technology deployment impacting controllership processes.

The Project Manager position within GFII will support the Program Management Office responsible for identifying, scoping, planning and executing transformational projects for Controllership & Finance. The PMO team supports the delivery of large scale projects that improve processes, provide efficiency, enhance the control environment, support business growth activities and implement new technologies.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for managing key projects in order to execute on the strategy of Corporate Controllership and Corporate Finance by comprehensive project management which includes maintaining project cadence and communicating progress, running meetings and noting action items, tracking issues or changes and driving them to resolution, escalating road blocks, and clearly and timely communicating to project team leads and stakeholders


* Consistent application of project management in alignment with playbook guidelines, best practices, and governance standards to ensure appropriate approach and tools leveraged throughout the project lifecycle, based on the scale and scope of the objective


* Work extensively with internal/external stakeholders and business process owners to coordinate end to end requirements, design, testing and deployment including change management associated with initiatives


* As needed, assist with leadership presentations and coordination of program related activities



Knowledge & Skills Required:

* Must be a self-starter with an ability to drive large scale time sensitive initiatives and able to motivate the team with the ability to work in dynamic environment
* Willingness to learn and implement project management methods and practices, including facilitation techniques such as walk the walls and brainstorming; and design thinking methodology
* Transformational approach to process efficiency and effectiveness
* Exposure to Project Management and Systems development is preferred
* Ability to influence multiple stakeholders to align to the project objective and able to deliver positive results
* Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to understand the linkages across processes
* Demonstrated strategic thinking and results driven approach with an ability to convert strategic vision into clear project outcomes
* Ability to build strong relationships and influence others across business partners and people at various levels in the company
* Demonstrate the ability to implement innovative solutions to improve customer satisfaction and drive E2E process efficiencies
* Capability of thinking 'Outside the Box' with a view to increase productivity and implement initiatives towards automation / Standardization of processes
* Exemplifies a growth mindset where continual knowledge and learning are expected, challenges are embraced and setbacks are opportunities to learn - forward looking and thinking
