About You:

As a Project/Program Manager at Avast, you will be a key driver in delivering cutting edge software applications to parents through partnerships with the Tier 1 US mobile operators. Within the project management team, you will be owning and driving execution and delivery for our product roadmap for key partners and working with cross functional development teams to deliver new features and functionality.

Responsibilities:

Own delivery outcomes for high profile products in the Avast portfolio Run daily SCRUMS in our Agile shop for multiple development teams Facilitate backlog grooming and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement Create detailed project plans and track, communicate, and mitigate project risks, dependencies and schedule changes Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure current and future projects are on track Facilitate trade off discussions and evaluation of delivery scenarios to best achieve product outcomes Partner with platform teams to ensure delivery of platform functionality is successfully planned and executed for your product Partner with engineering, operations and SRE teams to ensure deployment, monitoring, production support and incident management of your product is successful

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree 5+ years of project/program management experience in a technical environment Experience with external parties to reach organizational goals Experience leading multiple Agile software development teams Experience crafting effective project plans and driving their on time deliveryStrong communication skills, written, verbal, and presentationNatural leader who takes ownership and accountability for team deliverablesBe adaptable to changing project needs and fluid product development environmentComfortable with ambiguity and driving through uncertainty and chaos to find productive solutionsHands on driver of project executionHighly organized planner who can navigate software development challenges to deliver a project successfully
