Immediate Project Manager- Downtown Contract

Lake Shore Associates (LSA) is seeking a high-energy Project Manager that brings passion and pride to work every day to join our consulting team to work on client delivery projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, business acumen, experience working with Business, IT and Technology teams and excellent communication skills to help provide the best solutions for the unique business issues and opportunities our clients face. Individuals should be self-directed and driven to deliver exemplary results in a client-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

* Development and management of work plans for the successful delivery of project or large track scope.
* Create initiatives to realize desired future state, including short term and longer term activities.
* Ability to lead mixed client, vendor and consultant teams, minimizing conflict and maximizing productivity.
* Manage and monitor budget, scope, schedule, progress, and status of multiple simultaneous engagements.
* Oversee change-readiness for technical and business initiatives.
* Prepare presentations and other communications to drive/support decisions.
* Proactively identify and manage risks and issues.
* Apply industry best practices for program management--coordinating multiple vendors and customers spanning a multi-national organizational structure.
* Coordinate program activities with IT delivery teams, business requestors and 3rd-party suppliers.

Required Qualifications:

* 4+ years leading large enterprise programs and projects.
* A minimum of 4 years of project management process and governance setup, launch and

ongoing management experience, preferably over multiple engagements.
* 3+ years of experience leading projects/programs using industry-accepted project management process, methodologies and techniques.
* Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
* At least 3 years' experience using MS-Office and MS Project with Advanced/Expert level skills in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
* Experience with Project/Program Management (PPM) tools.
* Experience at a top tier consulting firm a plus.
* Bachelors or Master's degree required.
* Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
* Excellent written and oral communications and facilitation skills.
