Position Description:

CGI is growing!! We are currently looking for Project Managers at all levels across all industries.

You will manage projects through all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from concept and definition through product realization. In this role you must be able to use Waterfall and Agile methodologies or a combination/variations when necessary. You will be leverage your strong IT project manager and leadership skills and be able to work independently while keeping the client up-to-date on all aspects of the project. In this role you need to be very skilled at working with all technical resource participants in the project, including other outside vendors providing services.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

* You will manages project teams of 4-8 resources applying basic project management principles for development through deployment to include preparing detailed project plans, estimates, tracking, reporting status, issues and delegation.
* You will prepares detailed Statements of Work (SOW) for moderately complex engagements.
* You will work with the team and assists with generating user acceptance criteria for moderately complex business solutions.
* You will need to develop standards, templates & procedures to aid in the development of work products. Creating precise project plans through accurate estimation of task duration. Establishing accurate estimates for task duration, construct working project plan and setting realistic task objectives for team members.
* We will have you participate in the development of content and responses to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
* You will need to tracks actual effort to estimate effort to determine variance to plan and manage those variances either through risk or change control.
* You will be responsible for identifying project related problems/issues and reports them to management with recommended solutions.
* You will handles team issues objectively, prioritizes team work to meet deadlines, produces clear and complete written reports that meet project needs and assists in the preparation & delivery of presentations as needed.
* It is important that you builds effective relationships with a variety of clients; gainig their confidence and support.
