Job Purpose

To manage projects from initiation to completion delivering business change and benefits utilizing a fully resourced portfolio plan for the solution delivery centers and partners.

Key Accountabilities

* Provide leadership and direction to projects utilizing their project management skills, and subject matter expertise in a given business area.
* Manage any critical dependencies, risks, plans, costs and resourcing projects across interlinked projects within a multi-supplier eco-system throughout the project lifecycle.
* Make use of full methodology and techniques autonomously for self and advise others on appropriate approach.
* Create project schedules to identify ownership and track completion of individual tasks, enforcing deadlines in response to client requirements and success metrics.
* Identify resource constraints and work with personnel managers on creative solution to resolve project-related issues.
* Ensure all projects are properly estimated and costed.
* Ensure the investment proposals are deliverable.

Qualifications

* Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
* Relevant industry certification (e.g. Prince 2, PMI) desirable
* 3 - 5 years of professional experience demonstrating responsibility for participating in and/or managing large scale software development projects 1 - 3 years of experience in managing projects using both waterfall and agile methodology and oversight to external vendors
* Experience building and managing a project schedule in Microsoft Project or similar project management tool utilizing data-based decision making (GANTT charts, etc.)
