Overview

JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager will assist the VP of Revenue Cycle in supervising, managing and directing on-going projects for the organization. Will provide day to day coordination of projects, shall ensure that all aspects of these projects are completed.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will assist the VP of Revenue Cycle in supervising, managing and directing on-going projects for the organization supporting hospitals primarily in the New Jersey market. Will provide day to day coordination of projects, shall ensure that all aspects of these projects are completed.

Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders and also define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.Development and execution of project plans utilizing a project management methodology and project planning tools.Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.Serve as the liaison with project stakeholders and senior management.Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.Track project milestones and deliverables.Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.Develops and implements master project plans and risk mitigation plans.Continuously improve upon project metrics.Keep projects within or under budget. Performs all other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Two (2) or more years of applicable work experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum two years' experience in project management preferred. Knowledge of healthcare industry and hospital revenue cycle/business office preferred.
