Qualifications
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Customer-facing soft skills
Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to select the appropriate communication method in different situations
Proven ability to create documentation for production specifications
Ability to learn technology quickly and effectively train others
Knowledge of various support tools (i.e., SharePoint, Jira, BaseCamp)
Capable of prioritizing, organizing, and managing several ongoing tasks with minimal supervision
Ability to meet ambitious deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule with multiple projects running simultaneously
Ability to think creatively, adapt to circumstances, learn from co-workers, and share information and experiences
Strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills
Ability to make pragmatic, timely, and sound decisions
Proven negotiation, consensus-building, and conflict resolution skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to work on a team and independently
Knowledge of project management methods and tools
High level technical writing and documentation skills
Understanding of industry standard technologies and specifications (i.e., LTI, QTI, Common Cartridge, API, etc.) and industry standard development and production processes
General knowledge of emerging internet-based technologies
Understanding of Pearson learning and content platforms (MyLabs, Mastering, CourseConnect, eText, etc.) a plus
