Job Description

Archimedes Global is currently recruiting a Project Manager to join our team in Arlington, VA. (This position may have the ability to telecommute but needs to have the ability to be onsite locally as required by the customer.) The selected Project Manager will lead a small team in support of acquisition, program management, and meeting support services for the development and implementation of a new system within DHS. This support includes Development and configuration management of documentation, daily meeting support, SharePoint support, and support of procurement efforts.

The selected Project Manager will:

* Be responsible for contract execution and the overall direction and management of all activities, ensuring execution is within defined performance, cost, and schedule parameters
* Have in-depth knowledge/expertise in executing and managing contracts
* Be knowledgeable on all contract activities and interface directly with DHS staff as necessary
* Have written and oral communication skills are necessary, as well as leadership skills, the ability to work in a team, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task while working well under pressure
* Have experience in managing medium to large scale programs
* Have experience in performing day-to-day management of contract support operations, possibly involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations, on a single project
* Have experience in being responsible for staffing, project planning, project financials, and staff direction and oversight
* Maintain and manage the client interface at the contracting representative levels of the client organization

Requirements:

* 12+ years of experience with a minimum of 6 years of relevant specialized experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field
* Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance
