Your Opportunity
A Project Manager (PM) at Stantec is generally an experienced licensed professional Architect. We work in a fast-paced studio environment and PM's provide critical guidance and experience to our projects and teams. Project Managers are project leaders in our office and can organize and run small to large sized projects. PMs are the backbone of our teams and must demonstrate consistent, high level performance at varying levels of responsibility in design, project leadership and technical competencies. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to join our team and work on exciting projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
Project Managers at Stantec:
* Collaborate and foster team environment to deliver the highest level of design.
* Manage the design team and consultant teams to deliver high quality projects
* Manage project budgets and schedules, communications, internal team organization, consultant coordination, client interaction, meetings, contract agreements and proposals
* Lead and present in meetings with clients or municipalities
* Direct and oversee high-quality documentation, provide guidance with technical detail, & explore new solutions
* Drive the project forward towards successful completion / Motivates and challenges others to perform at their best
* Participates in networking activities within the design industry and professional organizations
* Manage the Construction Administration team.
Your Qualifications
* Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree
* Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
* Experience with large scale mixed-use commercial projects in urban settings
* Eager to learn, good listener, curious & proactive with strong time management skills
* Clear understanding of applicable codes & building construction systems, materials, and standards
* Understanding of Permitting & Entitlement process.
* Working knowledge of Revit, Sketchup, & Adobe Creative Suite
* Proficient with Excel, and an understanding of project financials
* LEED Green Associate / AP with BD C Specialty a plus.
* Architectural licensure a plus.
