NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Project Management Specialist I to join our team in Arlington, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

The Project Manager I Specialist will provide the following support in an active IT environment:

Create; update, and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) & Schedules using MS Project and MS Project Server for SIF according to established templates.

Build/update, forecast, manage and report program/project financials.

Use MS. Project (2016) dashboard for viewing and reporting status and information to executive management and staff.

Use MS Excel to create/update pivot tables for viewing and reporting.

Coordinate and collaborate with other IT sections management and staff to provide support to include, but is not limited to, program/project management; IT portfolio management; organizational process improvements; and information research, reviews,

sharing and reporting.

Support process improvement and standardization of organizational processes (e.g., identify, create/improve, document, implement, communicate, and provide training on new/updated processes, and review/comment on standardized processes proposed or

developed by others).

Review and consolidate comments provided by management and staff based on internal and external documents (e.g., DOJ, 0MB) reviews. Review for content, clarity, and grammatical accuracy.

Review, consolidate and organize client's share drive and SharePoint documents more efficiently.

Perform Quality Assurance of documents and other organizational materials.

Prepare meeting agendas, attend project meetings, and prepare and distribute Meeting Minutes. Capture and track meeting action items.

Prepare PowerPoint slides and conduct briefings to executive management and staff, when necessary.

Update Kanban board of client's projects/tasks.

Provide yearly physical inventory support

Capture and track inventory action items

Schedule project meetings

Attend Project meetings

Deployment Support

Maintain deployment tracking information

Coordinate shipment of equipment and supplies

Provide other general administrative assistance to Unit Chiefs and Project Managers when needed

Track new equipment requests

Track Service Manager tickets for client's HQ

Capture and track project action items

Required Basic Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Active DOD Secret Security Clearance.

BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology related field and/or at least 2 years of relevant experience to substitute 1 year of education.

Must complete & sign a detailed Drug Use Statement and be able to pass the DEA Security Clearance.

Ability to multi-task, complete detailed oriented tasks achieving accurate results, and work well under pressure.

5+ years working in an IT environment supporting IT projects

2+ years managing projects/tasks

2+ years expeirence with business writing and communicating orally in an IT environment

2+ years experience in an analystical role

2+ years experience using MS Office suite of tools

Desired Skills:

Experience with or knowledge of how to write plans (e.g., Communications plan).

Ability to identifying process improvement opportunities and make recommendations.

Experience with data and/or statistical analysis.

Experience supporting inventory activities.

Experience managing projects.

Experience working with teams.

Ability to travel up to 25%
