Position is in support of ARCI Global Sustainment (GS) product design and delivery. The successful candidate will lead the development of all tasks associated with technical documentation (TD) of major Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Programs. Candidate must be able to interpret GS requirements and translate them into support tasking, develop schedules, and lead product development and delivery. Successful candidate will develop performance metrics and additional supportability, quantitative reporting, and assessment measures for review as required. Reviews system support requirements and recommends path for TD support. Knowledge of DoD TD initiatives and concepts is required. This position requires an in depth understanding of the S1000D specification and experience developing S1000D IETMs for major programs in a team environment to include data developers, test and integration teams, graphic artists, and QA personnel. Candidate must have experience working with engineering personnel in determination of system capabilities and schedules and will be required to schedule and lead product testing in the laboratory. Candidate must have experience interfacing with Government Program Managers and knowledge of the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical System (SWFTS) Program. Candidate must have demonstrated experience in chairing major IPTs. Must have excellent written communications skills to develop reports and plans and present program status. Experience in developing and presenting technical reports and white papers to senior level management and customer program office. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications

Managing and developing S1000D compliant IETM development and other GS element planning strategies.
