Job Description

CTG, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer (Level 2) for a one-year contract with our client located in Rockville, MD! There is a possibility that this contract could be extended or made permanent!

Description: The project coordinator will assist with overseeing projects supporting Global Mobility's vendor and technology portfolio. This position will include collaborating with the Global Mobility multi-functional team and vendors to assist with initiatives. Support technology functions such as data analysis, dashboards, reporting, update website content, user testing, to enhance the user experience to support stakeholders, and leadership. Cross-functional knowledge in project management, preparing presentations, and data analysis to provide support in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. Assist with supporting customer and technology needs to develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Responsible for vendor processing, tracking, and reporting within the SAP (procure to pay systems). Prepare and update standard operation procedures, presentations, and training materials. Other special projects/activities as assigned. This position will report to the Global Mobility Vendor and Technology Manager.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory: Attention to detail. Must have a thorough knowledge of MS Excel, pivot tables, SharePoint and presentation skills. Work multiple high-pressure tasks at the same time. Exceptional communication and presentation skills in a multi-functional environment and proven customer interaction in support of production. Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing and presentations. Must be able to effectively interact with senior level customers, suppliers, and company personnel. The individual will need to be flexible and available to take on additional duties/responsibilities to ensure exceptional organizational performance. Familiarity with administrative systems, especially SAP, SharePoint and PowerPoint is a plus.

Desired: Ability to be a self-starter and take the initiative. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Thorough understanding of client's policies and procedures and demonstrates a professional demeanor. Act with diplomacy and discretion with customers, colleagues, and superiors. Effective interpersonal, organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time with limited supervision. Exceptional organizational skills. Ability to work well independently, but function within a team environment. Proven ability to recognize potential production issues during design and development. Experience in problem-solving activities such as reported and escalated issues to work with the suppliers to closure and resolution. Understanding of Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
