Project Engineer Associate

Job Description

Description:This position is a Project Engineer on a production floor building a first time classified product at Lockheed Martin's SkunkWorks. The position includes project management of portions of the build, interfacing with Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Supervison, and Manufacturing Engineering to (1) manage schedule (2) determine work arounds (3) support mechanics and electricians completing build. Successful candidate will begin with a small project to get used to the business rhythm and systems at Lockheed Martin, and will quickly be given more responsibility and become an integral part of the Advanced Development Programs build team.

Supports ADP Projects for Production Operations in Palmdale, California.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. Clearance not required to start. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or other related technical field.
