Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Specialist, Core Business Operations, Systems Engineering in Los Angeles, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Work independently without continuous oversight of a manager, deliver and deploy custom developed applications for clients, including prototyping, code development, modularization, unit and performance testing, configuration and defect management and production deployment. Identify business requirements, perform functional design, prototype, test and support implementations. Perform implementations throughout the system development lifecycle. Provide solution development and application architecture, business process analysis, mapping and design. Conduct conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Implement code and environmental changes into systems utilizing Changeman and Panvalet. Analyze business requirements and finalize approaches for application functionalities including design, development, and testing. Test migration activities utilizing Xpeditor, Abend-aid, and JIRA. Perform analysis, design, coding, and test case preparation utilizing JIRA, Version1, and Quality Center. Design and code Common Business-Oriented Language (COBOL) reports and online screens using Customer Information Control System (CICS). Improve performance in batch/online Central Processing Unit (CPU) time by performing DB2 (SQL) query optimization and load distribution by splitting files.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Information Technology (IT) or a related field.


* Two years of experience as a Project Delivery Specialist, Project Lead, or a related occupation.


* Must have two years of experience with:
* Implementing code and environmental changes into systems utilizing Changeman and Panvalet;


* Analyzing business requirements and finalizing approaches for application functionalities including design, development, and testing;


* Testing migration activities utilizing Xpeditor, Abend-aid, and JIRA;


* Performing analysis, design, coding, and test case preparation utilizing JIRA, Version1, and Quality Center;


* Designing and coding COBOL reports and online screens using CICS;


* Improving performance in batch/online CPU time by performing DB2 (SQL) query optimization and load distribution by splitting files.




* 80% travel required.


* Telecommuting permitted.
