Overview

The Project Controls Specialist will plan and coordinate schedules and estimates under assignments in program management, engineering design, construction and project close out. Will prepare project schedules for design and construction, including resource-loaded schedules, construction cost estimates, summary reports, and change order analyses. Will interact with in-house project managers and resident engineers, in-house engineering and inspection staff, clients, contractors, subconsultants and prime consultants. Will direct teams in document control, project reporting and schedule/estimate inputs.

Responsibilities

* Scheduling of engineering design and construction work in Primavera P6
* Development of construction cost estimates using CSI and City and State Agency formats and software
* Aid in development of document management systems
* Provide oversite for compliance with client document control standards
* Evaluate contractor cost proposals
* Provide QA/QC oversight for design and construction work
* Work with agency personnel to develop, maintain and monitor construction schedules

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and minimum of 8 years of experience in in the performance project control duties. Knowledge of design-build projects a plus. Proficiency in meeting transportation and/or facility client needs for scheduling and estimating (provide examples)
