Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Controls Planning & Scheduling Analyst to work in our Richland, WA or Denver, CO office and must have experience in Cost Processing & Analysis. This position is for a government project with Design and Engineering scope and this role would also support other smaller projects as required. This position will require coordination and input from multiple offices across the continental US into one integrated Project Control System, with strong baseline management skills. Candidates must be US Citizens without Dual Citizenship.
Position Description or Typical Responsibilities:
* Maintains configuration control of schedule baseline and the integration with the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB)
* Provides analysis of cost and schedule data to identify key project issues
* Supports the development of schedules for proposals and baseline change control
* May assist in leading and coaching staff through assignment tasks
* Assists Project Management in Contract Management and scope control, and demonstrates strong change management principles
* Knowledgeable in the forecasting of schedules, ETCs and EACs
* Conducts root cause analysis and tracks corrective actions as appropriate
* Assist CAMs in writing Variance Analysis Reports (VARs)
* Coordination of schedule input from all parts of the organization
* Able to identify and assist in analysis of project schedule variances. Identifies and analyzes schedule variances and recommends associated corrective action
* Updates and produces scheduling management reports
* Assists in the development and maintenance of the WBS and the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) to ensure that standard project coding is effectively used for all cornerstone applications
* Maintains the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Data Dictionary and schedule assumptions
* Expert ability to develop CPM schedule logic for engineering, procurement and construction as well as command of cornerstone scheduling system
* Assists in quantifiable earned value and physical percent completes
* Able to resource load schedule and perform schedule risk analysis
* Supports the project risk management process
* Performs system data traces to reconcile Project Controls System, including cost integration
* Ensure integrity and quality of schedules or project controls data and compliance with processes and procedures
* Support Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements in accordance to EIA-748 Earned Value Management Systems
* Assists Project Management in the development of the Monthly Report and internal KPI Dashboards
* Establishes and maintains project and client relationships
* Be assertive with excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Additional Information:

Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, business or related field, or demonstrated equivalent and related experience
* At least 5 years of demonstrated experience supporting Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects in a planning and scheduling position, with some experience in cost engineering
* Applied knowledge of planning & scheduling, cost analysis, progress measurement, earned value, baseline management & change control fundamentals
* Expert in Primavera (P6) software
* Knowledge in cost processing tools
* Detailed schedule analysis and reporting
* Attention to details
* Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen without dual citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
* EVP Certified
* Government experience implementing DOE 413.3B/EIA-748 EVMS compliant program
* 2+ years of Government experience with Planning/Scheduling
* Efficient knowledge in ARES PRISM G2 Cost Processing Software
