Project Control Specialist
We are seeking a Project Control Specialist to join our Agile program management team on a large portfolio program. This role will assist the Program Management team by coordinating and performing a variety of financial, resource, and administrative project tasks.
Responsibilities/Duties:
* Provide program financial management support including budget projections, reporting and what-if analyses
* Support resource planning including needs projections, resource assignments, cost tracking, and initiating recruitment
* Provide administrative support with personnel management tasks, such as tracking training needs and on-boarding new team members
* Create client and internal weekly and monthly project status reports
* Perform updates to project schedules
* Administer the project SharePoint repository
* Coordinate the response to "data calls"
* Review financial and other reports for accuracy
* Facilitate team meetings
* Assist with the creation of project documentation
* Coordinate and monitor follow-through on a variety of project tasks
Required Qualifications
Required Skills:
* 3+ years of experience with project management standard concepts, practices, and procedures
* Experience with financial reporting and analysis
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Proficient in Microsoft Project
* Highly detail oriented with strong basic math skills
* Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-past environment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment
* Fast learner and able to independently lead tasks
Education/Certification Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree
Clearance Requirements:
* U.S. Citizen or permanent resident and meet 3-year US residency requirement with the ability to attain a Public Trust clearance
