As a Programmer Writer in Amazon Advertising, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with a stellar technical team to produce product documentation in a cross-functional, distributed environment.

You will play a vital role in getting our customers up and running quickly with our Advertising APIs and making sure that the details of our products are clearly described and easy to understand.

The documentation team executes this role by delivering content that gets customers up and running quickly, and making sure product details are clearly described and easy to follow.

The ideal candidate has a technical background that enables them to engage Software Development Engineers, Program Managers, Product Managers, customers and partners. In addition, the ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical publications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Drive the development and product documentation for Advertising APIs
* Apply documentation design standards to produce high-quality documentation for various Advertising services
* Write or edit code samples to support documentation
* Produce high-quality documentation for various Advertising APIs
* Independently follow designs and standards to develop and deliver documentation for Advertising products
* Work as part of a team to produce conceptual, how-to, and API reference documentation for Advertising products
* Help define metrics for Help Center usage and use a data-driven approach to prioritize and drive improvements
* Conduct peer edits for grammar, style, and form
* Help define writing projects and determine priorities
