Job Description

Symitar, whose Episys processing core is run by more credit unions than any competitor's, is seeking a talented Programmer Analyst to join our team as we grow our lead in the industry. The Programmer Analyst provides programming support for existing software enhancements. Support may be for customer or internal organizations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Associates Degree or 4 years of analyst experience.
* Minimum of 18 months of Programming Language experience in one or more of the following:
* C#
* HTML 5
* Javascript
* AngularJS
* Angular



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization. Works on moderately complex and diverse projects. Exercises good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
* Able to write software code; good knowledge of appropriate programming language(s).
* Full Stack Web Development
* Client Side / Server Side
* IIS
* ASP.net MVC 5+
* jQuery
* TFS or GitHub
* .Net Framework Full / Core
* VB.Net


* Microsoft TSQL Query


* Able to meet aggressive deadlines.
* Strong knowledge of the financial industry.
* Strong knowledge of applicable Change Management System.
* Strong communication and customer interaction skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Develops programming code for new and/or existing software enhancements.
* Devises block diagrams, logic procedures and prepares flowcharting.
* Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.
* Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.
* Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.
* Provides programming support for various interfaces.
* Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes; may assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
* Creates all programming documentation; may include defining the system and functional requirements of the product
* May complete project bids and/or work effort estimates. Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.
* Mentors, trains, develops and provides support to less experienced co-workers.
