This position is for an early career professional Program Planner within the Laser and Sensor Systems Business Area In Bothell, WA where we deliver innovative laser solutions for the defense, aerospace, industrial, and scientific markets. Our Program Planner will be responsible for providing program planner/scheduler management, analysis and reporting, with support of technical planning lead, on proposals and performance contracts You will work directly with program team and financial analyst to establish the program measurement baseline (PMB) for cost/schedule integration and help evaluate the customer and program management requirements to determine schedule management solution.

You will have the opportunity to interface with multi-discipline team and Program Manager (our internal customer) to implement schedule planning, status and change management process consistent with customer requirements and Lockheed Martin internal processes and best practices. Our program planner will be responsible for use of critical path methodology and application in network development, analysis, and problem resolution. You will help establish the program baseline, including the development of the following work products: IMS, IMS architecture, PSMS, cross-references, budget loading, program PPM Directive and Integrated Master Plan (IMP) if required. You will also maintain, status, and analyze the IMS according to program requirements and LM internal schedule management processes including reports and metrics.

This position is part of the Early Career Development Program (ECDP) within the Finance and Business Operations function. The program lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 years (may vary based on employee's start date) and typically consists of a rotational experience, formal mentor and 'buddy' programs, and a standardized training curriculum; all of which are designed to provide a broad background in the finance and business operations functions.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
