Our dynamic team at BAE Systems in Hudson, NH is seeking a Program Manager II for the Survivability, Targeting & Sensing Solutions Business Area. In Survivability, Targeting & Sensing Solutions, we provide affordable and highly accurate precision-guided munitions, helmet-mounted and head-up displays for fighter aircrafts, and advanced electro-optical/laser technology that detect and defeat threats to air and ground platforms.

The Program Manager manages, coordinates, plans, controls and executes a collection of both pursuits and programs and ensures the achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives.

The idea candidate is an experienced Program Manager to run $50M+ development effort of a next generation 155mm Artillery projectile program. Transition to production follow-on expected after roughly 3-5 year development and testing cycle. Applicant should have several years of program management experience of developmental programs and should be expert in the transition between Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 through 6. Further expectations of the position include:

* Ability to lead complex teams that are distributed across geographic locations in a borderless fashion
* Experience in imaging, radio frequency, and GPS sensor technologies and their application in gun launch shock environments
* Proficiency in managing several dissimilar technologies with differing maturation rates and issues; the ability to manage engineering leadership to converge multiple technology timelines
* Ability to develop trusted customer relationships and shape ongoing opportunities and roadmap to transition of development activity to program of record
* Strategic awareness of competitors, including their strengths, weaknesses, IP positions and the development of strategies to neutralize competition and shape opportunity to maximize probability of win
* Program Management experience including EVMS and other PMP skill sets. PMP certification preferred.

End use customer is US Army ARDEC and experience with that customer community is preferred.
