Job Description

The Infrastructure Services and Operational Support team designs, implements and continuously evolves systems and processes to support all aspects of deployment and operations. In this role, you will work closely with Facebook Data Center Design, Construction, Connectivity (DCC) stakeholders and external vendors to devise technical solutions for business problems and own delivery from concept to creation. The Program Manager will build products to support Facebook global datacenter builds, operations, and tooling. This position will be located in Fremont, CA, with some travel required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Own end-to-end, ambiguous problem spaces and understand needs from internal stakeholders to inform near, mid, and long-term product strategy



Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative software products

Work with cross-functional stakeholders across the Infrastructure organization to drive consensus on priorities leading to product execution

Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers, data scientists, and designers

Conceptualize, build, and maintain tools and automation in support of Data center Design and Build teams

Make build versus buy decisions and integrate research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction

Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases of software

Lead/Support all business readiness activities including training, testing and rollout. Work independently with minimal supervision

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, systems engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field



6+ years of work experience in program management with a demonstrated track record of delivering business value using technology solutions in an operations space

Work experience in building scalable platforms, driving enterprise tooling initiatives, and translating strategic initiatives into software product roadmaps

Analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational experience

Communication experience

Experience in collaborating with different individuals across external organizations, within other geographies, and "roll-up the sleeves" in order to accomplish all necessary tasks

Interpersonal experience, including relationship building and collaboration within a cross-functional team
