The CxP Identity Knowledge Management team, a part of Cloud+AI works with partners, developers and customers from all over the world to drive content strategy and we work directly with engineering to shape the product. The best of both worlds!

As Microsoft cloud services adoption continues their rapid growth, developers play a critical role in helping to drive usage of our services. Developers are at the center of enabling key customer scenarios building solutions ranging from enterprise applications the broadest consumer apps. Developers adopting the Microsoft Identity platform is key to Microsoft's cloud strategy. Assuring our developers content needs are met throughout our engineering organization as part of the engineering lifecycle is critical to our long-term business growth and sustainability.

In this role you will help drive usage and adoption of the Identity dev platform by managing the creation of content artifacts within the developer ecosystem. The aim of this content is to improve and accelerate the growth of apps using the Microsoft Graph in Azure AD. This work is instrumental for our business to empower developers across the globe. Our world evolves at the speed of cloud and we are looking for active learners who can collaborate across a diverse team and global business.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technical Writing & Communication, or equivalent experience.

1+ years of experience developing applications using the Microsoft development stack

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong collaboration and ability to influence without authority.

Experience with developing and maintaining technical communities.

Technical ability to ramp to L300+ on Identity platform and aptitude to quickly understand service capabilities, technical issues, and customer needs.

Able to go both deep and broad on technology.

Desire and eagerness to help customers successfully understand, assess, and deploy our technologies.

Self-starter; Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment where new challenges exist around every corner.

Exceptional communication skills including public speaking.

Strong prioritization, time management and organizational skills.

Ability to take on complex systems and processes and drive simplification and improvements.

The ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Key Responsibilities:

Define and synthesize requirements across audiences (ISVs, Line-of-business developers, field) that will drive our deployment content portfolio (patterns and practices, best practice whitepapers, code samples, deployment plans, presentations, videos, blogs, and training modules).

Advocate customer needs back to engineering.

Architect, inventory, build the required content development plan and drive successful execution.

Work across multiple teams to coordinate integration of the content with existing efforts across all Microsoft Cloud offerings.

Write, review, and copy edit developer centric content.

Manage vendor resources to drive creation of content artifacts.

Collect and analyze quality metrics. Use the data to drive changes and improvements.

Review IT Pro core and external identities content from other members in the team.
