The Microsoft 365 Core Perf team is responsible for scaling the Microsoft 365 Core Platform as it rapidly grows, while delivering blazing fast experiences and keeping service costs in check.

* BS or higher in Computer Science or Engineering
* 5+ years program management experience
* Great problem-solving skills with strong technical proficiency and strategic thinking
* Prior experience working on cloud platforms (Prior experience in performance/latency is a huge plus)
* Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
* Ability to work across across team boundaries to get things done
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A big part of this role is communicating and collaborating with a broad range of people from engineers to PMs to managers to VPs.

The Perf team is looking for a Senior PM to work on Latency, i.e. to make the experiences and capabilities built on top of the Microsoft 365 Core Platform blazing fast. In this role, you will be at the center of some of the hardest problems large-scale platforms have to solve. You will be working across the platform stack every day, interacting with engineers and PMs across the organization to figure out how to keep pushing the boundaries of what's achievable. You will also get a chance to work hands on with the customers of our platform -- the first and third party developers who are building the next-generation, intelligent experiences on top of the platform -- to guide them on how to get the most out of the platform.
