ManTech is seeking a Program Manager to work in our Washington DC location. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Serve as the Program Manager (PgM) and the Government's primary Point of Contact (POC) for the effort

The PgM provides overall leadership, management, direction, and guidance for all ManTech (and subcontractor) personnel assigned to the contract

The PgM is ultimately responsible for the quality and efficiency of the contract, to include both technical issues and business processes

The PgM will have the authority to commit the contractor's organization and make decisions for the contractor's organization in response to Government issues, concerns, questions, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues including situations that may comprise the contractor's ability to provide services

Serve as a liaison between Senior Management, customers, and interagency partners to address and resolve technical issues and implement improvements

Build working relationships with subcontractors and vendors to establish team cohesion

Manage a workforce positioned across multiple locations, ensuring completion of milestones within specific budgets and schedules

Perform a variety of both complex and routine administrative and analytical duties

Perform quality management, evaluating program metrics related to contract performance and customer satisfaction and ensuring objectives are met

Advance client goals through effective execution of requirements and problem solving

Required:

A related undergraduate degree from an accredited university and 10 years of experience in managing complex IT development programs. Advance degree preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP*) Credential or equivalent

Information Technology Infrastructure (ITIL) Certification or equivalent

A minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Levels 2 and 3 processes or Lean Six Sigma practices

Active Secret security clearance required. Top Secret preferred

Desired:

Demonstrated experience implementing service level agreements and performance metrics on a contract

Demonstrated experience with the Federal procurement process and familiarity with the administration of cost-type contracts

Demonstrated experience with the Service Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) and SAFe Agile principles/methodologies and experience modernizing the processes and application support environment toward Agile/DevOps approach

Experience at Department of State
