Now, within Amazon's Global IT organization, you have the opportunity to join a large and growing company as a Global IT Program Manager, providing support to internal Amazon teams.

The Global IT One Door Program is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to assist in execution of a standardized project portfolio management system. You will succeed in this role if you are an organized self-starter who communicates well and excels in fast-paced environments. In this position, you will be a key contributor focused on the operational support of Global IT teams being integrated into our Workfront Enterprise Project Portfolio Management system. You should be resourceful, relentless, customer focused, team oriented, and have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines.

The candidate will monitor the environment to ensure services provided by the One Door Team deliver the best possible end to end experience from initial request to project close-out. This role will act as the first line of support for internal staff working in our project portfolio management system, and address related issues stemming from their usage. This individual will proactively leverage and build reports to monitor the Workfront environment , detecting and resolving problems. The candidate will also be responsible for the handling and escalation of system administration, feedback, and feature requests.

Responsibilities:

* Scope and Influence: Build consensus, secure commitments, negotiate positive outcomes, team alignment, and delivery of program objectives. Will work with GIT stakeholders across Global IT, and act as the primary engagement point for support requests and escalations. May also provide general systems, access and account administration in support of Workfront administration team as needed.
* Advises: The ideal candidate will be able to develop data driven analysis of program requirements, regularly providing customers, peers and their manager with operational updates.
* Execution: Effective end-to-end program management-including concise, well defined requirements, timeliness, quality, and delivery of solutions. Must be able to mitigate identified risks, escalate when necessary, and make trade offs for time vs. available resources. Ensures compliance with escalation procedures and program SLAs.
* Ambiguity: The candidate will require the ability to work through ambiguity to define project requirements. You will at times need to work autonomously with minimal direction from the program team.
* Communication: Provide clear, concise, accurate, and timely communication (verbal and written) to the right audiences. Maintain and develop customer facing and operational knowledge articles
* Impact: Effectively track metrics around assigned program/project tracks. Produce summary or ad-hoc reports detailing progress towards issue or defect reduction.
* Process Improvement: Act as a catalyst for faster business delivery, improving the accuracy of controls, and eliminate defects within team. Effectively surface and execute against process improvement initiatives.
* Suggested Experience: Two or more years of project management experience. Will serve as a Workfront subject matter expert (SME).
