The Microsoft Capacity, Supply Chain, and Provisioning (CSCP) group is an exciting and fast evolving engineering group within Microsoft. CSCP's vision is to Empower Customers to Achieve More by Delivering Cloud Capacity Differentiated at Scale. Our mission is to deliver Capacity for all Cloud Services Predictably through Intelligent Systems driven by Continuous Learning and a World Class Organization. We cover all Microsoft Online Services, supporting over 200 businesses including Bing, O365, OneDrive, Xbox and Microsoft Azure branded services.

The Customer Capacity Experience team within CSCP is at the tip of the Capacity Fulfillment promise for the Microsoft cloud, delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide.

We are a dynamic team working with customers across the globe in delivering to the promise of the Microsoft cloud. Strong empathy for the customer, deep engineering and problem solving capabilities and the ability to stay nimble and motivated through challenges brought up by the constantly growing customer base and demand are characteristics of our team. We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic, passionate, strategic PM who is data driven and customer focused to own and drive the Capacity Management aspects for our Built on Azure Services portfolio. You will be responsible for addressing the customer capacity needs and driving far-reaching strategic insights about customers and the services. Working with engineering counterparts in building the systems we need for scaling decision making, developing customer and region-specific levers and supporting processes to aid in managing the increasing customer demand. You will be working with internal engineering product teams and customers in an advisory role and helping them optimize their resources on Azure

Qualifications:

* BS degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or other related quantitative disciplines
* 3 to 6 years supply chain, cloud experience

Preferred:

* Strong aptitude for analytic thinking and solution development.
* Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
* Proven capabilities to drive positive business results through cross-group collaboration and partnerships.
* Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with ability to create and deliver executive friendly communications on complex product, business, and supply chain topics.
* Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups spanning all organizational levels.
* Ability to deliver results in an ambiguous and evolving business environment.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities:

* Define and own the end-to-end capacity management strategy and execution for the portfolio of services that you own.
* Proactively identify and analyze risks to the capacity health of your services and trigger mitigation strategies and actions.
* Deliver against our capacity customer promise by ensuring we have a frictionless experience for our customers. Establish, monitor and report out against customer metrics and KPIs for the services you manage.
* Serve as the Technical and Operational Subject Matter Expert for the assigned built on Azure portfolio.
* Collaborate across a diverse set of stakeholders to drive Continuous Improvement to business processes and systems development across the capacity management function.
